Day 21: More Than We Ask

Day 21: More Than We Ask

“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us…” - Ephesians 3:20

Paul’s words in this verse inspire us to expand our expectations of what God can do through us. Take a moment to reflect on this promise: “Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us.” This is a profound promise!

Paul encourages us to envision all that God could accomplish through us and then multiply that by infinity. This is the level of faith and expectation we are called to live with every day. We can confidently pray for God to provide all that we need for life and mission because He can do far more than we can imagine. Paul emphasizes that God will achieve this through His mighty power working within us. It starts with us—by desiring and asking God for more. Through His power in us, He can do abundantly more than all that we ask or think!

Prayer Focus:

Let’s pray that every person at The Grove will have the opportunity to lead a neighbor to faith this year and help them become a disciple who makes disciples. Ask God to raise up more church planters so we can establish 25 healthy churches over the next 7 years. Pray for His provision of $12 million for our next building phase, and trust Him to accomplish far more than we can imagine, working through each of us in extraordinary ways.

Reflection:

Consider how you are currently asking God to work in your life. How can you expand your expectations to align with the infinite possibilities God offers? Reflect on areas where you need to trust His power to achieve more than you can ask or think.
