Ready to Rescue Day 31

²³ For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Praise God for forgiving us of our debt because of our sin. Repent of any thoughts or ideas that you may have ever had that you could earn your salvation on your own. Ask God to help you experience more of eternal life (knowing Him) in the here and now. Yield to God's desire for you to live in the freedom that comes from knowing that you are completely forgiven.

• Why does sin result in death? (hint: Holy God vs. sinful humanity)
• What is the gift that God has given? What did we do to deserve it?
• How does His gift impact our everyday life, as well as eternity?
