CREE Grand Opening
CREE Grand Opening
by Steve
On April 23rd, our global ministry partner, Adoptando, celebrated the grand opening of CREE. The word CREE means “believe” and as a ministry of Adoptando, it is the first spiritual and restoration center for children in the Puerto Rico foster care system. CREE was dedicated to Mrs. Carmen Lydia Vives who served over 1,000 children in the foster care system during her life.
The CREE facility has the capacity to hold up to 24 children. Adoptando will begin to receive children today, May 16. Join us in praying for the staff and volunteers who will be ministering to these children. Pray that they hear the truth of the gospel and are either placed back with their birth families or into foster families as quickly and safely as possible.

We recognize that not everyone is called to foster or adopt, but we believe that everyone can do something. We would love to help you find your something. You are invited to join us for a screening of Take a Chance on Me, a film by The Archibald Project. Hear about Darien’s journey in and out of foster care and the family that invited him into their lives.
Following the short film, there will be a time for Q&A, building community, and some ways you can get involved with the GroveFoster&Adoption ministry.
