A Good Name
A woman discovers the meaning of her name
and the truth of the Gospel
by Steve
God is at work! Recently, Paul was able to share with three women who work near the church. They stopped when they heard a praise song being played from someone’s phone. One of the women was named “Church” (pictured above). Paul asked her if she knew what it meant? He used her name as a bridge to share the Gospel. At first, she did not like what Paul had to say, but after sharing the truth of the Gospel, she said,
"If this is so, I have a good name.
What do you need to know to become a Christian?"
All three women placed their trust in Christ that day. Paul asked that we continue to pray for them as they go home and will likely be faced with opposition from family. These women have continued to attend weekly church gatherings and shared to the church that they wish they would have known this truth when they were much younger.
