Serving the least of these.

Known by our love—from our neighborhoods to the ends of the earth—we are committed to bringing people into fellowship with Jesus and His Church.

our approach

GroveLocal is a ministry focus of The Grove where we intentionally pursue Jesus’ mission to make disciples of Jesus right here where we live starting with meeting some of their needs and then caring for them spiritually by making disciples.

Locally, disciple-making starts in our own neighborhoods with people who are near to us.

We want to pursue people, in our communities and beyond our borders, with the love of Jesus. The Grove has identified unique local initiatives where we strategically focus our attention and our resources.

Operation Liberty Hill envisions community where no one lacks the basic necessities, all enjoy freedom from racism and inequity, and everyone knows the love of Jesus.  Their programs include: food pantry, thrift store, financial assistance, and spiritual care.
Pregnancy Help Center exists to bring compassionate help and hope to women who are unprepared for pregnancy; to present abstinence as a positive lifestyle for singles; and to provide opportunity for healing and restoration through Jesus Christ to those who have been hurt by abortion.
God of Hope provides a bridge of hope from prison to new life by providing Christian care and discipleship to men and women incarcerated in Austin and the central Texas area. Their programs include: faith-based dorms, prison wide studies, and 'pre/post' reentry.
Cornerstone Restoration is a construction-based, volunteer-driven ministry that restores hope to those going through difficult times. Their focus is on serving the elderly, widows, single parents, children and survivors of human trafficking or sexual exploitation. There programs include: serve days, serve trips, and care teams.
Foster Village exists to come alongside families in the Austin area foster care system and show them that they are not alone. Their goal is to create opportunities for the community to be a "village" of support to these vulnerable and underserved children and families.
Isaiah 117 provides a comforting home where these children instead can be brought to wait – a place that is safe with friendly and loving volunteers who provide clean clothes, smiles, toys, and snuggly blankets. This space allows children to receive the comfort and care they need while child welfare staff can do the necessary paperwork and identify a good placement. There programs include: a giving room, cooking & baking, case worker appreciation, and more.
