Conversations & Coffee

One of our primary outlets for outreach is our English Club ministry where anyone in the city is welcome to join for an hour of conversation, coffee, and an invite to the church gathering as well as to dinner right after the English club.

During our last club, I (Hunter) could sense that the Spirit was moving in our group conversations. When I invited the guys to continue the conversation and hang out with me more for dinner, they gladly accepted. At dinner, the Spirit clearly led the conversation and laid out an opportunity to share the Gospel and my testimony.

One of the guys in particular wanted to hear more and now wants to come to church. God is clearly working in his heart. Please pray for him.

Pray for our minds to retain Japanese quickly and well.
For the man that Hunter shared the Gospel with after English Club to come to faith in Christ and be discipled.
Discipling relationships. (including our kids)
The right person to take over leadership of English Clubs.
Clarity for which city/church plant the Lord would have us to be a part of.
For the overall health of our family. We've experienced a lot of what we believe is spiritual warfare lately, as well as the effects of transition.
